Review of Mechanical and Temperature Properties of Fiber Reinforced Recycled Aggregate Concrete

Recycled aggregate concrete has received increasing attention owing to its broad development prospects in recent years. This study discusses the enhancement mechanism of various fibers on mechanical properties, high-temperature resistance, and freeze–thaw cycle resistance recycled concrete. It reviews effects fiber types content strength, failure state, concrete’s high low temperatures. The results indicate that can significantly improve flexural strength tensile bridging effect but have little compressive strength. Regarding with a lower melting point form channels concrete, reducing internal pressure water vapor. Fibers higher points act as bridges, inhibiting generation propagation cracks Therefore, fiber-reinforced perform better at temperatures than ordinary Due absorption rate which is approximately 7–10 times natural it easier reach critical saturation damage. Results show 0.2 kg/m3 polypropylene 1.2 basalt excellent performance improving frost
